Another great newsletter, love the all star team. Really makes me anticipate Topps Update Series this year, there should be some great rookie cards in that set, I may even have to get a jumbo box for the first time. Thanks for including Westburg, he is just a player. Always an after thought in that prospect heavy organization, and he probably is playing the best of them all (Cowser, Kjerstad, Holliday).

Thanks, PI! So who are we looking for in 2024 Topps Update: Skenes, Merrill, The Jackson 3 (Holliday, Merrill, Chourio), Wyatt Langford -- maybe they make Skenes an SP or save him for 2025 Series 1.

All of the above plus Jared Jones too. I really hope they don't make us wait until 2025 for Skenes. Plus, the Topps Now cards of Skenes have the RC logo, which some believe is an indicator of inclusion in the 2024 topps sets. There are probably others we are missing too, might need a David Gonos video soon of the top rookies to collect in update series.

Of note, Ben Rice has the "call up" on his Topps Now, so he must be being saved for 2025 series 1. I guess we are stuck with that sweet Ben Rice 1/1 for only $99.

Man, it would be a shame not to have Skenes this year, and in spite of the possible hint you mentioned, if I was a betting man, I’d bet we don’t see him until ‘25. Like, I said, though, hope I’m wrong.

I hope you are wrong too. I haven’t given it much thought but if they put Skenes in this year, who is the headliners for 25 series 1? That has to go in the equation, Topps would need someone on the cover next year, and like already discussed, update this year should be loaded.

Very nice write up on the all rookie card team. Man that Dallas thing is crazy. As much as I’d like to think I’d be more aware of what was going on if that was my table, I also agree that there should indeed be more security in general than there is at some of these shows. By the way, I’m curious what the Happy Hobby Zoo would do with a ‘60’s floating head rookie! Great newsletter, thanks, David!
