13% of $1300 is $169, so selling $1300 of cards would be enough to purchase a card worth $1130 (not counting the screen fees from shipping and tax).

To buy a car for what ended up being $1200, you needed to sell $1380 worth of cards (again, not counting the fees for shipping and tax).

Yes, you are correct. I was rather liberal with my rounding. I did end up paying about $65 out of pocket once taxes got added.

Thanks Scott! The selling came in waves, sometimes it felt like this would be super easy and others like it will never happen. Hardest part was not spending some of the earned money on other cards of interest.
