After being inducted into the Fantasy Sports Writers Association’s Hall of Fame in 2021, David turned his content creativity toward the sports card collecting world. He works from home in Central Texas, and lives with his wife Shelby and Frank, his furry, canine proofreader. (He pronounces it “woof-reader.”)

I want these newsletters to be like opening a pack of cards: different cards with different subjects, all meant to be entertaining, informative, and increase your hobby happiness.
We will start each pack with an observation about the love of this hobby from different aspects. There will also be card rankings, a guest portion from some other content creators, deeper looks into numbers and stats that surround card collecting, guest advice from veteran collector Patrick Imhoff, polls, announcements, look-aheads, and finally, a Happy Hobby moment that makes us smile.
