📰🏆📰 5 GREAT eBay “SAVED SEARCHES” YOU NEED TO ADD!

My primary source for buying single cards right now is eBay, mostly because they have such a large platform. I use “saved searches” on eBay, which really helps me find great deals on cards, players, packs and boxes I otherwise wouldn’t have known were available. Here are a few of my favorite eBay Saved Searches:

Graded Cards Under $10: I filtered my eBay settings to those listings ending soonest, with “baseball” and “basketball” selected. Among the “Professional Graders,” I select slab companies I prefer, and I set the grade to a maximum of “10.00.” I’ve found multiple slab deals this way. Just look each day and you can find great deals, too.

Specific “Player Search”: I save searches on players I like from all sports, sorted by those listings ending soonest. I then filter sports, leaving features unfiltered and then I save. Sometimes I add features like “memorabilia” or “serial numbered,” when I’m looking for either of those.

Sealed Packs and Boxes Searches: By having these searches saved, I save time, even though I look at them daily to add stuff to my “Watch” list.

Save Sellers: If I have a good transaction with a seller who sold me boxes and/or packs, then I save that seller, so I can come back and buy from them confidently in the future.

Search For “Lots”: You can find “lots” of cards (multiples of the same card) from new releases like a week or two after the product is released. Many times, big quantity buyers will “lot off” cards and inserts to get rid of the bulk items they acquired while chasing bigger cards.

I have a bunch of saved searches, and I truly think it’s a useful tool for card collectors working with a limited budget. You can often win auctions under comps, but you’ll definitely need patience… and a lot of it!

Here’s Patrick’s latest move on how he’d do things differently if he were the CEO of Fanatics:

No. 13 – NUMBERING CONSISTENCY

I would fix this across all products. Colors would be obvious, and the numbered cards would be the same. For example, all red cards would be numbered /5, orange out of /25, and so on. This would standardize everything so it would be easier when searching for your favorite single.
