Very cool idea resulting in a very interesting list. You touched on most of this, but surprising to see the “new” qb’s so high. Also to see TLaw, Stroud, and Herbert obliterating quality WR and RB prices still looks funny, even knowing qb bias. Chase seems like a bargain to me as well, for sure. Fun exercise, thanks for sharing!

Agreed -- Interesting to see, for veteran collectors not trying to buy/sell hype, that we can wait on big rookie quarterbacks if they get too expensive. Everyone's trying to not miss out on the next Patrick Mahomes or Joe Burrow. Just painful to see people paying big for rookie QBs who have the odds against them. There were SIX QBs taken in the top-12(?) picks last year, which made most people racing to get a handful of them. But the odds are more likely they'll finish like the Christian Ponder/Jake Locker/Zach Wilson/Mac Jones-types than the Mahomes/Burrow. Just go buy an awesome rookie Bradshaw/Staubach/Elway/Montana with that money!

By the way, David, since it’s sorta on topic, if you have a dearth of any rookie cards from ‘21 (including and especially TLaw and Chase), let me know and I’ll get some out to you. I’ve opened quite a bit of retail from that year, and have quite a few doubles in a couple of the shiny sets, (especially Select).

Thanks, man, much appreciated! You should rank your years of ripping in order of which years you ripped the most! Was it in 2021? Gooooood times!
